The English word "worship" draws upon two words: "worth" and "ship". In worship, we show God his "worth" to us. Therefore, opportunities for worship abound at the Alte Nikolaikirche, including:
- Communion Worship Service, Sundays, 9:30am*
- Creative Worship, Sundays, 11:15am*
- Toddler Worship, see current church newsletter and calender*
- Inspiration at Noon (English and German), Wednesdays (Summer), 12pm
- Women's Worship Services, 2. Tuesday of the month, 7pm*
- Advent Vesper Services, Saturdays and Sundays in Advent, 5:00pm*

Both congregational members and tourists/visitors are warmly welcomed to all worship services at the church.
